Sheets in Codolio
In the world of coding, having a structured roadmap is half the battle. Sheets in Codolio are designed to be that roadmap.
Instead of solving random problems, Sheets allow you to follow curated lists, organize your own questions, and share resources with friends. This guide covers everything you need to know about finding, creating, and mastering Sheets.
1. Explore Sheets: Follow the Best
The Explore Sheets tab is your library of high-quality question banks curated by top creators and the Codolio team.
1.1 Types of Sheets Available
We have organized sheets into categories to match your specific goal:
- Popular Sheets: The most famous community lists (e.g., Striver’s SDE Sheet, Blind 75) are pre-loaded here.
- Mastery Sheets (Topic-Wise): Specialized lists focused on mastering a single pattern. Examples include the DP Mastery Sheet or Graph Mastery Sheet.
- Competitive Programming (CP): Essential resources for competitive coders, such as CP-31 and A20J Ladders.
- Quick Revision: Short, high-impact lists designed for last-minute interview prep.
- Company Wise: (Premium) Targeted lists containing the most frequently asked questions for specific companies (Google, Amazon, etc.).
1.2 How to Start Tracking (The “Follow” Rule)
To actively track a sheet from the Explore section, you must Follow it.
- Why Follow? You cannot mark a question as “Done,” add notes, or star it on a public sheet until you click the Follow button.
- Where it goes: Once followed, the sheet appears in your My Sheets tab under the “Followed Sheets” section.
💡 Smart Sync: Codolio’s tracking is centralized. If you solve Two Sum in “My Workspace,” it automatically gets marked as Solved in every sheet that contains Two Sum. You never have to mark the same question twice!
2. Custom Sheets: Build Your Own Lists
Want to create a study plan for your college club? Or maybe a specific “To-Do” list for the week? Custom Sheets give you full control.
2.1 How to Create a Sheet
- Go to the My Sheets tab.
- Click Create New Sheet.
- Give it a name (e.g., “My Weak Areas”) and description.
2.2 Adding Questions to Your Sheet
You can add questions to your custom sheet from almost anywhere:
- Directly in the Sheet: Click the Add button inside the sheet to paste a problem URL. (We auto-fetch the difficulty and topic!)
- From My Workspace: When viewing a question’s details, use the Custom Sheets dropdown to add it to a specific list.
- Via Chrome Extension: Solving a problem on LeetCode? Open the Codolio Extension and add it to your target sheet instantly without switching tabs.
2.3 Power Feature: Bulk Import
Migrating from Excel? You can import hundreds of questions in seconds.
- Open your Custom Sheet.
- Click the Three Dots (⋮) menu > Import Questions.
- Upload your CSV or Excel file.
- Required Column:
problemUrl - Optional:
topic,subTopic
- Required Column:
- Done! Your file is converted into a trackable Codolio sheet instantly.
2.4 Organizing Your List (Topics, Subtopics & Questions)
Codolio gives you complete flexibility to structure your sheet. You can organize questions into folders or keep them simple.
- At the Main Level: Click the central Add button. You will get two options:
- Add Topic: Create a main header (e.g., “Arrays”).
- Add Question: Add a question directly to the list without any folder.
- Inside a Topic: Hover over any Topic header and click the
+button. You again get two options:- Add Subtopic: Create a nested folder (e.g., “Arrays” → “2D Arrays”).
- Add Question: Add a question directly under that topic.
- Inside a Subtopic: Hover over the subtopic and click
+to add a question directly inside it. - Rearranging: You can drag and drop questions from one topic to another, or reorder the topics themselves to create the perfect flow.
3. Sharing & Collaboration
Sheets work best when shared. Whether you are a mentor, a YouTuber, or just studying with a friend, Codolio makes collaboration easy.
3.1 Public vs. Private
- Private: Visible only to you and invited collaborators.
- Public: Anyone with the link can view your sheet. They can Follow it to track their own progress, but they cannot edit your original list.
3.2 Collaborating with Friends
Need a study partner?
- Open your sheet and click Share.
- Enter your friend’s email address.
- They get Edit Access: They can add or remove questions to help build the list.
- Note: They cannot see your solved status, and you cannot see theirs. Progress remains private.
4. Common Questions on Sheets
Q: If I unfollow a sheet, do I lose my solved questions? No! Your hard work is safe. Solved questions remain in My Workspace. Unfollowing simply removes the sheet shortcut from your list.
Q: Can I duplicate a Popular Sheet? Currently, you cannot clone a Popular Sheet, but you can follow it and track it directly.
Q: Do I need to manually enter the Difficulty level for questions? Never. Just paste the URL, and Codolio automatically fetches the correct Difficulty and Topic for you.
