Key Features Overview
If you are new to Codolio, you might be wondering: “Is this a tracker? A portfolio builder? Or a study tool?”
The answer is: It is all of them.
Codolio is a complete ecosystem designed to accelerate your learning and job preparation. This guide breaks down every major feature so you can use the platform to its full potential.
1. My Workspace: Your Personal Coding Tracker
My Workspace is the heart of Codolio. Think of it as your DSA diary + Revision notebook + Progress tracker rolled into one. It provides the structure and clarity that standard coding platforms lack.
What You Can Do
- Centralize Practice: Track questions from LeetCode, GFG, Codeforces, and more in one list.
- Smart Tagging: Label questions (e.g., “Tricky,” “Review,” “Important”) for easy filtering.
- Detailed Notes: Write explanations and attach them to specific problems.
How to Add Questions to Workspace
There are three ways to populate your workspace:
- Manual Add (The Standard Way): Click the floating
+button in the bottom-right corner. You can add via URL, search by name, or manually enter details. - Via Sheets: If you follow a coding sheet, simply marking a question as “Done” or adding a note will automatically sync it to your Workspace.
- Via Chrome Extension (Fastest): When viewing a problem on a supported site (like LeetCode), use the extension to add it instantly without switching tabs.
The Power of Linked Notes
Codolio’s note system is unique. You can write a single note (e.g., explaining “Binary Search logic”) and link it to multiple questions.
- Why it matters: You write the concept once and attach it to every problem that uses that pattern.
- General Notes: You can also create standalone notes for cheat sheets or revision summaries in the My Notes tab.
2. Sheets & Custom Lists
Sheets are curated lists of problems designed to give your practice direction.
Types of Sheets
- Popular Sheets: Pre-built, high-quality lists grouped by topic (Arrays, DP, Graphs) or purpose (Quick Revision, CP). Ideal for beginners.
- Custom Sheets: Create your own lists. Perfect for maintaining a personal “To-Do” list, mentorship batches, or sharing resources with a college club.
Creating & Importing Sheets
- Manual Creation: Go to My Sheets > Create New Sheet and add questions one by one.
- Bulk Import (Recommended): Use the Import Questions feature to upload a CSV/XLSX file. Codolio automatically processes the URLs and creates a trackable sheet instantly.
🤝 Collaboration
You can invite friends or mentors to collaborate on a sheet.
- Collaborators can: Add/Edit questions and notes.
- Collaborators cannot: See your personal progress (solved %).
- Public vs. Private: Set sheets to Public to share them with the world (anyone can follow), or Private for exclusive access.
3. Company-Wise Interview Kits
This is one of Codolio’s most powerful features for job seekers. We provide curated question banks for top companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Atlassian, Uber, and more.
How We Curate Kits
Our data is not random. It is aggregated from:
- LeetCode Discuss experiences
- verified interview reports
- public forums
Preparation Modes
- All-Time Favorites: Classic problems that are historically repeated.
- Last 6 Months: Medium-term trends to understand the company’s current focus.
- Last 45 Days: The freshest questions based on the latest interview reports.
4. Profile Tracker (Your Developer Resume)
Your Codolio Profile is a professional, recruiter-ready portfolio that proves your skills.
Key Components
- Unified Stats: Aggregates your solve counts from LeetCode, Codeforces, CodeChef, etc.
- C-Score: A custom metric that evaluates your balance across DSA, Competitive Programming, and Development.
- Verification: Verify your external accounts to unlock the Dev Card and appear on global leaderboards.
Showcasing Projects
Don’t just show code; show what you built.
- Connect your GitHub via SSO.
- Go to the Development Stats tab > Add Project.
- Select a repo and add details (Tech stack, Screenshots, Demo Link).
- Result: A rich project card with upvotes and direct GitHub integration.
5. Event Tracker
Never miss a contest again. The Event Tracker provides a centralized calendar for:
- LeetCode
- Codeforces
- CodeChef
- AtCoder
- HackerRank
You can filter by platform, view registration links, and see a monthly overview of your competitive schedule.
6. Chrome Extension
The Codolio Chrome Extension eliminates the need for copy-pasting.
How it works: When you are on a problem page (e.g., LeetCode Problem 1), the extension icon lights up. Click it to:
- Add the problem to your Workspace.
- Mark it as Solved.
- Add Notes or Tags.
- Add it to a specific Sheet.
Summary
Codolio is designed to flow with your career journey:
- Practice in My Workspace.
- Structure your learning with Sheets.
- Prepare for jobs with Company Kits.
- Showcase your proof of work with the Profile Tracker.
